Troubleshoot
Here are some common causes of problems running Mirror.
My #1 issue personally is when I have run Mirror on my phone and then switch to my Tablet. Bridge can not connect to both at the same time even if Mirror is in the background. The solution is to make sure everything is closed then restart Bridge and Reason and Mirror on the device you want to use.
-
If you started either Reason or Mirror on your device before starting Bridge can cause conflicts and strange errors. If you are unsure, Quit out of all three and start Bridge first, then Reason, Then Mirror.
-
Bridge needs to be manually started when the computer is booted.
-
Two instances of TouchOSC/Mirror on separate devices will cause conflicts. You can’t have two devices actively running TouchOSC.
Android and iOS may leave the connection active even if Touch OSC/Mirror are not in the foreground. Your license allows you to use Mirror on more than one device, however, only one device can function at one time with one host of Reason/Bridge.
To solve the problem, exit TouchOSC and also restart Bridge on your host.
-
Mirror Mixer mode only works properly when it’s not set as the master keyboard. This can be changed in the Reason Preferences. Also it needs to be locked to the main mixer. This is done by right clicking the master control strip.
-
TouchOSC requires a stable network connection. Network outages or instability may be the root of your problem.

Unfortunately problems have been reported with some Mac machines and the Keyboard shortcut menu as well as the sequencer editing tools. I have not been able to solve the issue when it occurs. TouchOSC developers have reported this issue of passing commands using the “Command+keystroke” failing for some reason on certain machines. When this known issue is solved I will send an update.
